Working on the public site today

• Browsing pages, comics, freebies, games and other public content;
• Language preference stored in your browser;
• Google Analytics;
• The on-site Feedback form (interface);
• Optional downloads you choose to save;
• Embedded third-party players or tools on some pages.

MargoStory uses Google Analytics (measurement ID G-5XKD86W0ZN) on public pages to understand general traffic and how the site is used.

Google may process technical data such as approximate location derived from IP, device/browser information, and page views according to Google’s own policies.

We do not intentionally send your name or Feedback message text into Analytics events as personal labels.

The site language (EN / RU / HE) is stored in your browser’s localStorage (key such as margo-lang) so your choice can be remembered.

Some features may also store local preferences only on your device — for example comic reading progress/bookmarks, reader view settings, or muted audio for certain experiences. These stay in your browser unless you clear site data.

Many public pages include a Feedback panel. You may choose a category, optionally enter a name, and write a message.

Today the Feedback interface is part of the live site. Delivery of messages to an operator mailbox through Cloudflare Email / server functions is being prepared and may not be fully active in production until that backend is connected and configured.

When message delivery is enabled, typical fields would include category, optional name, message text, page path, language, and time. An optional visitor email may be added later for replies. Messages are not meant to be stored in localStorage as a substitute for sending.

If you download stickers, coloring pages or other files, the file is saved where you choose on your device. The site does not need an account for current public freebies.

Your browser and network provider may still see the download request like any other file request on the web.

Some pages load content from other companies. Those services have their own privacy policies. Examples currently used on MargoStory include:

• Google Analytics and Google Fonts;
• SoundCloud embed on the Music page;
• SmoothDraw embed on the Draw page;
• Hosting and delivery via Cloudflare for the website.

External links (for example to YouTube or other sites) are covered by those sites’ rules when you leave MargoStory.

Language and similar preferences use localStorage more than cookies. Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers according to Google Analytics.

We aim to serve the site over HTTPS.

Please do not put passwords or other sensitive secrets into Feedback messages.

• You can clear site data / localStorage in your browser settings;
• You can use browser or Google tools related to Analytics cookies where available;
• You can simply not use Feedback or downloads;
• You can contact us about privacy using Feedback on the site.

MargoStory is a creative site that may be visited by children and teens. We try not to ask for more personal data than a feature needs.

This page does not invent legal age limits. The site owner should confirm applicable requirements for the audience and region.

This Privacy page may be updated when features change. The “Last updated” date at the top should change when something important is revised.

For privacy questions about MargoStory, use the Feedback form on the website and choose an appropriate category (for example “Other”).

There is no separate public privacy phone number. Do not send passwords or other sensitive secrets to strangers.
